At Voomie, we exist to support busy brains because we are busy brains. Our founder was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult, and we hear from our community every day about how life-changing a diagnosis can be.

But in Australia, getting that diagnosis as an adult can be really difficult. Waitlists are long, and the cost of private consultations is out of reach for many. This means people go years without answers, tools, or support.

This ADHD Awareness Month, we’re giving $10,000 to help close that gap. Four members of our community will each receive $2,500 to put toward their ADHD diagnosis. We wanted to remove a barrier that so many face, and make it easier for them to get the help every single busy brain out there deserves.

Each week across the month, we’ll announce one of the four giveaway winners, spreading awareness while directly supporting our community week by week.

When we ran our customer model photo shoot earlier this year, we heard firsthand how getting a diagnosis has given people clarity, confidence, and the language to explain their needs. We want more people to have that experience, and this giveaway is one small step toward making that happen.

The Voomie Diagnosis Project $10k Giveaway will run from Wednesday, 1st October at 6PM AEST until Friday, 31 October at 4PM AEST.

It’s wonderful that you’ve already been able to take that step; however, this giveaway is designed to support people who haven’t yet had the chance to access a diagnosis. We want to leave this opportunity for those still facing barriers.

No, you don’t need to provide any medical information. We aren’t screening or asking for proof of not being diagnosed. The giveaway works on trust. If you win, the $2,500 can go toward getting an ADHD diagnosis or any ADHD-related support you choose.

The prize of $2,500 will be transferred directly to each of the four winners via bank transfer. This gives you the flexibility to manage the funds yourself and apply them toward the ADHD-related support that’s right for you.

The funds are intended to help with ADHD-related costs. This might include an ADHD diagnosis, psychological services, ADHD coaching, or other supports that help you better understand and manage your busy brain.

When you enter, we’ll ask for your name, email address, and phone number (so we can personally call you if you’re selected as a winner). You can also share your Instagram handle if you’d like, though it’s optional. Finally, we’ll ask you to tell us a little about your ADHD journey and what this support would mean to you.

There’s no strict word limit. We encourage you to keep your story as clear and concise as feels right for you. What matters most is that it comes from the heart. This is a judgment-free space. We simply want to hear your experience in your own words.

Each Friday in October, our internal Voomie team will carefully review the week’s submissions and select one winner. In total, four community members will be chosen across the month.
